Interpreting

Simultaneous Interpreting

The interpreter translates the spoken language almost simultaneously while the speaker is speaking. This is often used at conferences, large events, or in international organizations and requires specialized technical equipment such as interpreter booths and headphones.

Consecutive Interpreting

The interpreter listens to a passage of the spoken word and then translates it into the target language.

Whispered Interpreting

The interpreter sits or stands next to the target person and whispers the translation simultaneously. This method is suitable for situations where only one or two people need the translation.

Negotiation Interpreting

This type of interpreting is used in bilateral meetings or small group discussions and can be either simultaneous or consecutive, depending on the needs of the participants.

Sign Language Interpreting

This involves translating between spoken language and sign language to facilitate communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.

Video Interpreting

In recent years, video conferencing has gained significant importance. Whether in home office settings, at international meetings, or for last-minute consultations—video conferencing helps bridge distances and quickly brings participants together efficiently. At M.T.R., we also offer our interpreting services via video conferencing.
